Angelean is a cover of the Michigan DIY classic originally released by Edgar Cayce & His Guitar on their album “I’ve Been Better” (edgarcayceandhisguitar.bandcamp.com/album/ive-been-better). It’s a lo-fi home recording that was made when I moved to Nashville as a way to battle my homesickness, and was later mixed and mastered by Darin Rajabian (drajabian.com). It’s a nostalgic song about the sweetness of childhood friendships, the pain of growing apart, and feeling like you won’t ever find friends like that again. The artwork is by Erin Case (erincase.weebly.com), who introduced me with Edgar Cayce & His Guitar a decade and a half ago.
